A community tradition for 26 years and a popular staple in Acadiana's cultural and social calendar, the Downtown Alive! (DTA!) 2010 series kicks off March 12. The Spring 2010 season promises to once again, bring great entertainment in the form of free, family-friendly, smoke free, outdoor concerts to Downtown Lafayette. Sponsored by Cox Communications, Lafayette Coca-Cola and The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco Free Living, DTA! features performances by Grammy Nominated,  renowned and up and coming musicians representing a variety of genres ranging from Cajun, Swamp Pop, Blues, Rock, Funk and more. 

DTA! begins at 5:30 p.m. with food & beverage concessions - musical performances from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. DTA! is a free event sponsored by Cox, Kleinpeter Farms Dairy, Lafayette Coca Cola, The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living, and Slap Ya Mama Cajun Products.
