The Acadiana Poboy Festival celebrates the legacy of the humble poboy sandwich, expands its boundaries, and seeks to promote the culture & hospitality of Acadiana through food, music and fun! There will be over 25 vendors selling some of the best poboys Acadiana has to offer. Check out the refreshing beverages, unique and one of a kind arts and crafts, kids activities, live entertainment by Zydeco Radio, Ray Boudreaux, Soul Express Brass Band, Louisiana Soul Revue, and 337 Band. Enjoy a day full of family fun at Zoosiana’s annual Easter celebration! There will be a continuous Easter Egg Hunt, candy stations, face painting and all of the wonderful Zoosiana animals! While you’re there enjoy a ride on the safari train, feed the parakeets, and play on the Jungle Playground! There will be live entertainment and vendor booths! This “festival on wheels” is a great way to eat, dance, and explore your way through South Louisiana. This 5 day biking tour of the South is for anyone and everyone! For a shorter riding experience, sign up to be a “Weekend Warrior”! If you don’t want to ride every day, you can still experience the events that the Cycle Zydeco riders will enjoy! Thursday, April 20 the riders will be in New Iberia for the New Iberia Art Walk starting at Shadows on the Teche and later a Concert at the Steamboat Pavilion in New Iberia. Saturday, April 22, they will enjoy Zydeco Breakfast at Buck & Johnny’s in Breaux Bridge, then later that night have a Zydeco Party at Miller’s Zydeco Hall of Fame in Opelousas.
