Live music returns to a downtown staple this week. Artmosphere will start back up on Thursday evening with a performance by the Nouveau String Band.

Downtown Alive! will wrap up their virtual spring series with piano man Eric Adcock and blues-rocker Michael Juan Nunez. The duo will collaborate on a set streaming live on Friday night. That same evening Dustin Sonnier and his outlaw country band, The Wanted, will be at Rock n’ Bowl.

What’s a Louisiana Saturday night soundtrack without some Cajun or zydeco? The young and traditional Huval Fuselier Band will be at Roots on Dulles Drive. A Zydeco dance is set that night at Feed n’ Seed with Terry and the Zydeco Bad Boys.

This edition of Lafayette Weekly will feature the musicians in this week’s live music picks. You’ll hear Eric Adcock rocking the keys with Roddie Romero and the Hub City All-Stars, zydeco from Terry Domingue, and acoustic Cajun sounds from Huval Fuselier. “Missing you, Mississippi,” and “Between the Stones and Jones,” by Dustin Sonnier are also included, along with some blues by Michael Juan Nunez.
