A popular crawfish spot is now providing a somewhat safe space for local bands to perform in the first phase of reopening the economy in Lafayette. The Cajun Table has recently started its Crawdown Alive series with groups performing on a flatbed trailer in the large parking lot of their business. This space provides plenty of room to social distance while listening to live zydeco music, drink a few cold ones, and eat a belly full of crawfish.

Crawdown Alive will host two of Acadiana's favorite party bands on their outdoor stage this weekend. Friday night will feature Horace Trahan and his Ossun Express. Leroy Thomas and the Zydeco Roadrunners will perform on Saturday.

You can also catch Geno Delafose and French Rockin' Boogie at Rock'n'Bowl for their Zydeco Sunday series. This event is open to a limited crowd but will also be broadcasted live on the venue's Facebook page.

There are still live streaming events happening this week for all of those staying in. The all-star Cajun trio T'Monde will be performing via Facebook for their new Wine Wednesday series. Steve Riley and his family band will perform on Sunday afternoon.

This edition of Lafayette Weekly will feature all of the artists mentioned above. This Cajun/zydeco playlist will include the latest from Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys. T' Monde and some classic Horace Trahan. You'll hear Riley's "Tourne ca de borde," "The Bean" from T' Monde, and Leroy Thomas' radio hit "I Don't Wanna Hurt Nobody."
