If there was ever a night to showcase the current sound of Lafayette, it's this year's Uncle Sam's Jam.  The Zydeco Boss, Keith Frank will headline the free outdoor concert alongside GRAMMY winning Cajun rockers, Lost Bayou Ramblers, and  Louisiana indierock torchbearers, Brass Bed. Music starts at 5:00 p.m. and will run until 10:00 p.m. at Parc International. Whether it's karaoke at Artmopshere, or zydeco at the Wurst Beirgarten, there will be be plenty of more music to catch afterwards.

This week's playlist is comprised of mostly new music by the three artists performing at Uncle Sam's Jam. These highlighted tracks include the trailride zydeco sound of Frank's "On the Rise", Brass Bed's fuzzed out take on the swamp pop classic, "Sometimes', and Lost Bayou's noisey, industrial "Freetown Crawl / Fightinville Brawl". Also included are classic American themed tracks from James Brown, Tom Petty, and The Grateful Dead, as well as music from Dustin Sonnier and Mike Broussard & Nu Edition Zydeco.
