Junior League of Lafayette announces our 27th Annual Tinsel & Treasures holiday market is going VIRTUAL. Through much thought, consideration and concern for our members, merchants and community, Junior League of Lafayette has decided to transition to a virtual market featuring two weeks to shop with an extended merchant list.
We are pleased to offer a virtual model of our holiday market to ensure a safe shopping experience as well as continue the Tinsel & Treasures traditions of our Sparkle & Shine raffle and online auction. The ongoing support of our sponsors and merchants has made this possible.
When customers “Shop for a Cause,” they are able to support the Lafayette community through the Junior League’s programs that benefit women and children in our area. It also allows us to provide financial support for Junior League of Lafayette and its Mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
We invite you to this year’s virtual Tinsel & Treasures holiday market with TWO ways to shop!
Beginning September 13, you will find a list of all our amazing merchants here on our website with links to their stores to shop online.
You can also join our Tinsel & Treasures Facebook group here where shoppers will feel like they’re strolling through the street lanes of our market. Join now for a sneak peek into our merchants and stay tuned for our virtual ribbon cutting on Sunday, September 13. Once market opens, our 100+ merchants will be posting daily to give you a look into their fabulous finds and most popular items.
No tickets are needed–access to our website and entry to the Facebook group are free!
Not only is market virtual this year, but we’ve transformed many of our special events by going virtual.

In addition, your children will find safe, kid-themed items in the box, including a signed photo from Santa with “special friends,” stationery to write a letter to Santa, and other hands-on holiday activities. Over the last 27 years, Tinsel & Treasures has been Junior League of Lafayette’s largest fundraiser, raising more than $330,000 last year. Like so many others, the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted our fundraising and therefore our programs. However, community needs still exist, and we are here to rise to the challenge.
