A Sunday afternoon at Bayou Teche Brewing is a great way to meet the locals. Each week, the brewery hosts a front porch jam session, a French table, and a friendly game of Bourré. Bourré is a popular card game in South Louisiana. It’s a trick-taking game, similar to Spades. If you don’t know how the play, the locals will be happy to show you and even teach you a few new phrases at the French table. Local Cajun and Creole musicians often take a Sunday break to participate in the jam, a very casual gathering open to anyone with an instrument.

Bayou Teche Brewing a is an eco-friendly microbrewery in Arnaudville, Louisiana. The brewmaster uses locally grown ingredients and crafts ales that complement the cuisine of the region, Cajun and Creole food. Bayou Teche Brewing is open for tours in French and English seven days a week and also offers samples in the tap room!
