Downtown Alive, Spring 2019 series

Dates: March 8, 2019 - May 17, 2019

Recurring: Recurring weekly on Friday

DTA! features performances representing a variety of genres: Rock, Cajun, Zydeco, Funk, Soul, and more. DTA! has once again partnered with the staff of Festival International for the 35th anniversary. With the two non-profits pooling resources and decades of collective concert experience, this is sure to be DTA!'s best year yet.

Besides great music, DTA! gives visitors multiple reasons to come Downtown and enjoy the party. The event begins each Friday at 5:00 p.m. with the Happiest Hour, highlighting a specialty drink from a different downtown bar or restaurant each week.

Musical performances take place from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM. The newly created DTA! Kids area will continue with free activities provided by the Children's Museum of Acadiana, Lafayette Public Library, and Deuxième Vie Creative.

There’s no reason to miss out on the fun, with parking available at Parc-Auto du Centreville Garage and free metered street parking after 5:00 p.m.

Lafayette's Original Street Party is supported by contributions from Lafayette Coca-Cola, LUS, Super 1 Foods, Lowry's Printing, Townsquare Media, Delta Media, Event Rental, and Potty Girl.
