Lafayette Gleaux Ride

Lafayette's favorite nighttime bike ride will now be held twice a month!

Meet us during ArtWalk on the second Saturday or on the last Saturday evening of each month for a free, laid-back community bike ride. All we ask is that you wear a helmet and make sure your bike is #LIT!

The route changes from time to time, but we like to stick to safe, low-traffic roads around the center of the city. It's an easy-going ride with a pace that works great for couch potatoes who are just getting started or spandex warriors who are looking for a friendly recovery ride.

Where to go:
Mickey Shunick Memorial (at St. Landry + Dean streets, next to the ULL intramural fields)

When to get there:
We meet at 8:00 PM and the ride starts after sunset.

What to bring:
- A bike, duh. But if you don't have one, reach out to us in a message and we can direct you to rental options.
- A helmet, we're required to wear them.
- Bike lights. We ask for at least front and back, but we want you to really SHINE! See below for gleaux light options.
- A water bottle. Stay hydrated y'all.
