A St. Martinville native, Ms. Bienvenu is a strong advocate for the preservation of the Acadian culture. She is a chef/instructor at the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University and the author, contributor, and editor of a number of cookbooks. She will share her cultural and culinary journey in this presentation. Refreshments following the lecture will be traditional Acadian desserts, which would be welcomed additions to our upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations.
