Dates: Nov 22 - 24 2019
Historical interpreters, woodsrunners, and traditional craftspeople whose impression falls between 1760 and 1890 are invited to come, camp overnight and cook in a historical fashion. On Saturday, Vermilionville will present a series of workshops and demonstrations on traditional crafts and wood skills, such as beading, flint knapping, water gourd and rope making, tinsmithing, and more. Any impression or style from that period is welcome. This is not a military or combat event rather a chance to meet new friends, learn new skills, and camp, old-style.
Keep an eye on Vermilionville.org for a layout of the weekend. For details, please contact Brady McKellar - Director of Museum Operations - at email@example.com or 337.233.4077 x.211.
