The Acadiana Po-Boy and Plate Lunch Festival announced the rescheduling of the annual, local food event. Due to ongoing challenges of labor shortages in the restaurant industry, the popular food festival is set to return in the Spring of 2023 at Parc Sans Souci in Downtown Lafayette.
Acadiana Po-Boy and Plate Lunch Festival presented by Tony Chachere’s has been announced to return in the Fall of 2022. The popular food festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 10th at Parc Sans Souci in Downtown Lafayette. “The festival will be bigger than ever this year, because we are combining our 2 biggest food festivals Acadiana Po-Boy Festival and Plate-Lunch-A-Palooza into 1 big food fest this year: The Acadiana Po-Boy & PlateLunch Festival” festival organizers said. Rumors have been going around that the Festival may come back on Saturday, April 2nd but this date is incorrect. “We understand that the community cannot wait for the festival to make its comeback after two long years. So much so that an event date for Acadiana Po-Boy & PlateLunch Festival already has been circulating, prior to our official 2022 event schedule release. That goes to show how popular this event is and we definitely look forward to bringing this event back in September!”
The Acadiana Po-Boy & PlateLunch Festival has over 20 vendors selling some of the best po-boys and plate lunches Acadiana has to offer. With refreshing beverages, unique and one of a kind arts and crafts, kids' activities, and live entertainment, there's truly something for the whole family.
