The Hospitality Hub is a coordinated effort between Lafayette Consolidated Government, Lafayette Travel, and the Lafayette Economic Development Authority, One Acadiana, and Downtown Lafayette to provide resources for those affected by disasters needing to navigate Lafayette and the surrounding areas. The Louisiana Department of Health Region 4 serves the Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermillion parishes. Its offices are located at 825 Kaliste Saloom Road, BW 3, Suite 100, and you can reach them by calling (337) 262-5311. Please use the quick links below to access the health information you need.
Shelters - Brown Park's Dupuis Recreation Center, 1212 E Pont Des Mouton Rd., will serve as a shelter opening at 4 p.m. Tuesday, offering beds, food, and water for those who need shelter.
211/232-HELP provides information, education and referral services to help those in crisis return to being healthy and productive members of the community and to empower and strengthen individuals and families by connecting those in need with community and social services that address their needs.
Federal Disaster Assistance helps you find local resources including shelters and disaster relief resources based on your immediate needs and provides a list of the closest FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs), starting with the closest three.
