A Lafayette native, Kristie Cornell is an Instructor of Geology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has traveled extensively throughout Louisiana and across the world, exploring and photographing the often overlooked details of the cultural and physical landscapes that surround her.  She can generally be found kayaking, camping, or hiking with her dog, Harper.
