This coffee shop is known for its great gelato, espresso, and cooling ice coffee. Their cold brew is chilled with ice cubes made of coffee! On hot days, it is a must. 

Nestled in the Oil Center, Five Mile Eatery embraces sustainability and supports the local community. It celebrates the flavors of our region and its values through organic, wholesome, fresh goods. Grab lunch, a sweet treat, and a hand-crafted coffee made with the best ingredients around! 

Order a chicory-baked coffee, lavender latte, or frappé and browse the book, gift, and plant shop. 

Coffeeweed Cottage, founded by Denise Champagne-McClure, is a new gathering space with a history! The building was one of the first mechanic shops in town. 

Rêve Coffee Roasters is there on the corner of Jefferson and Cypress, and offers downtowners much more than just a good cup. It’s a lively coffee shop with a unique aspect: the beans are roasted on site, and you can smell the difference before you walk in the door.

Huya Craft Coffee is a family-owned and operated café in Youngsville. It was once known as Brewed Over, a mobile coffee shop that was a brick-and-mortar staple in the community. Alongside exceptional coffee, Huya serves various delicious food, including their famous Boudin Poptart. 

Jet Coffee serves the best specialty-grade coffee while maintaining speed and amazing customer service. Jet has multiple locations in Lafayette! The Ambassador Caffery coffee features a rooftop patio, one of the only in town. 

Bayou Barista in Breaux Bridge serves specialty coffee creations from a drive-thru-only location. What started as a coffee truck has become a permanent location, with loyal customers returning for that particular caffeine fix. 

Founded by 19-year-old entrepreneur Gethsemane Aguirre, Black Cat Coffee House is one of the newest cafes in town. With a name like Black Cat, it’s easy to tell Gethsemane is an animal lover. She plans to donate a portion of sales to local animal shelters like The Acadiana Animal Aid. 

A great neighborhood coffee shop is Black Café. There they serve a specialty blend of roasted Rêve coffee beans unique only to Black Café. They also are known for their various styles of scotch egg as well as their lunch options.

Of course, a visit to Louisiana is not complete without a quick stop at CC’s Coffee House, which began in 1995 in New Orleans. They serve up their signature Community Coffee in the normal coffee house drinks, but also several fun specialty drinks, such as the Mochasippi.
