The annual EatLafayette campaign by Lafayette Travel is here and we are excited to once again support locally owned restaurants that make up the Lafayette culinary scene. With a new year comes new changes. We are excited to announce that after 14 years of partnering with Calzone & Associates to produce our annual EatLafayette campaign, Lafayette Travel will be taking the campaign in-house for the 15th anniversary. We want to thank Calzone & Associates, in particular, Julie Calzone, for her years of service to the local restaurant industry through this annual campaign.
With this change comes a new focus for EatLafayette. While we will maintain our promotions and activities we’ve done in the past to encourage and educate the general public about eating local, we are working more towards a local food’s movement that aides our local restaurants and provides resources to better serve the food community here in Lafayette. More details on upcoming events and other opportunities to get involved with this movement will be shared later in the campaign.
This year’s EatLafayette campaign will run from June 16 – September 15. Early bird registration is open now and will end on April 15. The deadline to be included in the campaign is May 15.
