This once farm town is now one of the fastest growing communities in the state. As local residents began moving into new subdivisions south of Lafayette, their favorite restaurants followed them. All around Youngsville, you’ll find great local eateries in pristine shopping centers. Sugar Mill Pond is a new-urbanism neighborhood with sidewalks, playgrounds, green spaces and its own Main Street with shops and restaurants. Nearby, the Youngsville Sports Complex is home to soccer, baseball and softball fields along with a playground, walking trail and multi-purpose pavilions. Youngsville plays host to many events, from festivals in Sugar Mill Pond to its own Mardi Gras parade.
