Cycle Zydeco is a four-day festival on wheels. This casual touring across South Louisiana takes place every year the week after Easter and includes great food, live music, and the finest flat roads Louisiana has to offer. Experience mouthwatering Cajun cuisine and live performances by the best bands in Louisiana. The ride includes tours of many attractions and options for camping or staying in hotels. Immerse yourself in Acadiana: the birthplace of Zydeco, home to Cajuns and Créoles alike, and one of the most unique cultures in the United States.
Deemed the festival on wheels, Cycle Zydeco is a four-day touring ride held the week after Easter. Cyclists from all over the globe (the farthest being from New Zealand) participate in this party on wheels. Cycle Zydeco's priorities are eating, dancing, drinking, and riding a bicycle to the next festive location. Each stop offers you the chance to experience the magic of Cajun Country that includes tours of local attractions, live music, and Cajun cuisine. The main routes average about 40 miles (65 km) per day. We also offer longer route options each day that average over 62 miles (100 km). All routes include points of interest such as brewery tours, swamp tours, and other good times that you will find in Acadiana.
